Get involved in programs that teach childhood sexual abuse prevention and be sure to talk to your children and the children in your lives about sexual abuse.  

Most importantly, treat children with respect.   By providing a safe haven and a respectful listening ear, you make it less likely a child will be abused. Abusers target children without strong adult support.
